When she’s tempted to give in to fear …
You help offer truth and hope!

Fear … It’s what many women seeking an abortion feel. They don’t feel empowered or strong — they feel afraid and overwhelmed.

This is just how “Nicole” felt when she came to Pregnancy Solutions earlier this year.

Nicole had a significantly traumatic history. She has some physical limitations as well, and it made her question her ability to just be a mother at all. She was feeling unsure — fearful — alone.

But thanks to the love and care of our staff — women who stepped in to meet Nicole right where she was at — an immediate connection was made. A genuine relationship was formed. Nicole felt supported by a community — felt more empowered than she’d felt in a long time.

Along with the pregnancy test and ultrasound she was given, we encouraged her heart and discussed available resources, including ongoing emotional and spiritual support. Before she left her appointment, Nicole told us she’d decided to choose life.

Nicole is now the mother of a healthy baby! Our team still rejoices over this fact … a testimony of God’s goodness and your dedication to ministering to women in need of guidance and grace.

As I settle into the role of Executive Director, I have to tell you: I’m beyond excited to be here. Great opportunities are on the horizon, and I’m looking forward to meeting each one.

At the same time, we are faced with unique challenges in the wake of Roe v. Wade’s fall. Yes, the Supreme Court’s ruling ended the federal “right” to abortion … but the ultimate debate is now up to each state.

Currently in Ohio, there is an indefinite injunction against S.B. 23 — the state Senate’s heartbeat bill — after the ACLU, ACLU of Ohio, Planned Parenthood Federation of America, and others filed a lawsuit.

This means the heartbeat bill does not protect unborn babies at this time — abortions are once again legal in Ohio until 22 weeks and will remain so as the litigation plays out. Worst of all, abortion is being promoted as healthcare despite doctors taking an oath to do no harm.

Therefore, this is not the time to become complacent. We must remain vigilant … we must keep striving to meet women like Nicole where they are, plant seeds of hope, nurture relationships with people in crisis, and offer truth and compassion to expectant mothers afraid of the future.

With a new year quickly approaching, Pregnancy Solutions and the women and men we serve need allies … partners … prayer warriors … friends. Our work is only just beginning.

I feel God calling us to be watchful — to strengthen the things that remain, as Revelation 3:2 says, because our work is not yet complete.

In an effort to reach more women in crisis, we just launched a new service: STI (STD) testing and treatment for two of the most common infections, chlamydia and gonorrhea. Provided at no cost, this testing and treatment are offered to expectant moms by our licensed medical professionals as a way to promote both health and compassionate help to those who need it.

So I urge you to stand with us before this year ends to strengthen what remains … to “finish” the work to which we’re called … to embrace women in crisis and fill their hearts and minds with the love that drives out fear.

Let’s finish 2022 strong, together, and launch 2023 focused on saving unborn children and empowering their mothers to be what God wants them to be.

Thank you. God bless you.

Sincerely,

Tameka Hale, Executive Director
